Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are organic compounds that easily evaporate into the air and cause air pollution. They can be found in a variety of building products such as paints and varnishes, paint strippers, adhesives, sealants and other building furniture. Sources can be solid or liquid, with short- and long-term adverse health effects
